WEEK 21 - SAN FRANCISCO - friday - sunday 17 - 19 september 2010

our first proper day in san francisco. what would you do? sight see? eat? well if you are us, and slightly over sight seeing by now, you will think, hhhmmmmm what does san francisco have, that we dont? yes, you guessed right. ikea. so off we went. we spent all afternoon in ikea trawling the shelves for things to bring home. youll have to come over and visit to see what we got :) 

then we headed to the shops and grabbed some groceries, ive never been so excited to eat home cooking in all my life!

we got home and made a delicious stir fry, yum yum yum. 

saturday today and we headed out for the weekend to san francisco. first stop, was a coffee place, with 24 minute parking! random! 

we went to the wine region and stopped at the visitors center on the way, and took random photos with the giant blue chairs and random bobble tree!

we got to the winery and heather and i did a wine tasting, soooo yum! :)

we spent the afternoon drinking wine in sun

then headed back to heathers friends house, stopping at the golden gate bridge and the iconic houses for photos on the way.

we went for thai for dinner, heather ordered a gorgeous pumpkin curry, sooooo amazing!

we found a cafe that does real coffee!

then found a place that does drinks up the top of a rooftop, but we had to leave quickly as this random guy came up and started talking, so we escaped.

we walked to gay district, and got these amazing cookies, and then eventually headed home.

on sunday we went out for brunch at yummy cafe like ponsonby, then decided to head back to heathers place and we blobbed. we stopped at the bridge lookout for more photos, and also stopped at the street windy streets for more photos, and then we made another yummy dinner, then watched kick ass, its so funny! :)
