saturday 8 may 2010 - french rivera

Tuesday, May 18, 2010 | |

today we headed out to a boutique french perfumery. we elarnt how they made the perfume and then got to smell lots of them, although ive got a cold, so i couldnt smell much! i still bought a little one called ‘belle de nuit’ [lady of the night] its really nice ;) and its real undiluted perfume so it lasts for ages!
then we headed into the french rivera town of Nice and spent the day looking around. we saw the old castle ruins and jewish cemetery and then headed down to a cafe for lunch, where i had the most amazing pizza and hot chips YUM!
then gemma and i ditched the boys to go shopping, we found a cheap jewellery shop and got some bling for our upcoming evening out, and relaxing at haagen daaz eating scrummy ice cream, before hopping back on the coach to go back to camp to get ready.

everyone got dolled up and ready to go to the country of Monaco! very exciting, we went to the Manaco grand casino, which was just amazing inside, but alas you are not allowed to take photos inside which was gutting. the toilets even had an electronic seat cleaner, where it spun the toilet seat around to clean it! genius! we even got to see the race track for the monaco grand prix which is happening next weekend.
