WEEK 14 - NEW YORK TO PHILADELPHIA - sunday 25 july 2010

today is our final morning in new york. there are many stops that we didnt make during our time here, and i will be back! but there is one place that cannot be left unvisited. and that is the sex and the city cupcake shop, Magnolia.
It is amazing.
It looks amazing, smells gorgeous, and the staff are so well presented and lovely, and smile at you. It’s truly magical.
After 5 minutes of agonising, i choose a devil’s food cupcake with cream cheese icing, and a lemon cupcake. both are amazing, but the lemon one is my favourite, and they taste amazing washed down with their creamy iced mocha [YUM!]
the girl at the counter is so nice to talk to, and she helps me choose a neat I [pic of cupcake] NY tshirt, which im very excited about :)

apologies for the photos being a bit sub-standard, i had to rush around the shop and grab photos before the next wave of 20 people overtook the shop! [it can get mighty crowded in there within seconds!]

we then taxi’d to the bus stop, and hopped on the Bolt bus to Philadelphia. the Bolt bus is awesome, free wifi, plugs to charge your stuff and loads of leg room. and clean! hooray!
and the funniest thing was, our host in Philly, Akshay, was on the same bus as us! so when we got to Philly, we just taxi’d straight to his house, it was so easy!
we relaxed for a bit, the headed out for an early dinner to Good Dog bar and had teh most amazing burger! fried onions and a huge pattie filled with cheese YUM! with a side of potato and sweet potato fries! sooooo good!

then we headed to the cinemas and watched Inception, man thats an awesome movie, highly recommend!
