friday 4 june 2010 - amsterdam

Sunday, July 11, 2010 | |

today we headed out canal biking. im not even sure how some people are even awwake and moving after last night, but everyone is here. slowly, but here! lol.
we headed out canal biking, and it was so lovely, got complettely lost, since we didnt even read the map, but still we got to our end destination, even if we only realised the pamphlet gave you a guided tour when we read it half way through, haha!

we wanted to go into anne franks house, but the que was about 2-3 hours long, and after waiting 45minutes and only moving 3 metres, we gave up and went and got lunch instead. we are coming back to amsterdam in a few weeks, so not to worry!
we had yum pancakes for lunch with trent, kat, ash and adam.
then spent the afternoon strolling the shops in the pedestrian shopping district.
we had our final dinner out as a group, and got asian dutch food [so yum!]
then headed to the canal and had a boat ride on a canal boat with wine, it was so lovely! zsofi, gazza and andy all said speeches, and it was so nice, a really neat end to our tour.
we all headed to a bar in town afterwards and had drinks and partied with everyone, before heading back at about 1am with adam and ash [the couple we were rooming with, they are so lovely!]
