today is our final full day in germany, and there is also another soccer game on! yaaay!
helge popped out and bought us these amazing chocolate crossaints that ines loves, oh my gosh, soooooooooooo good! YUM!
so we are going over to Ines’s friend Kirstens house in Hameln to watch the game in the afternoon. on the way, we stopped at a castle and had a look, its the summer residence for someone important in Germany [sorry ive forgotten] and it has a nice restaurant inside too. we didnt have time to do the tour inside though.
we headed over to Kirstens house, and completely stuffed ourselves full of yummy snacks, treats, ice cream and drinks. its 38 degrees today, and we had to keep the windows shut, because the air was so much hotter outside. they have a cute wee dog too called Juli, and we played with her heaps as well. Of course, Germany wonthe game, and we all headed out on the balcony and had turns having foot baths to cool down. then all of a sudden the breeze picked up, cooled us all down [set off my hayfever!], and everyone looked like they were on the titantic, arms spread out trying to cool down, it was so funny! all in all, a fantastic way to end an amazing week.
