WEEK 10 - GERMANY - hildersheim - wednesday 30 june + thursday 1 july 2010

we decided to stay home and chill out for a couple of days, because Ines is getting ready to go to NZ next friday. we sorted out her online visa application, cleaned the house, played with the cats and ate delicious fresh picked strawberries that are organic - the most delicious strawberries ive ever had! YUM!

on wednesday evening we headed out to Ines and Helges favourite bar/restaurant, this cool mexican place, and celebrated Ines passing her Masters in teaching [with a score of 1.1! -its between 1 and 5, 1 being perfect and 5 being bla] with some cocktails. she invited her friends from uni, who also speak english and we had a really nice night, enjoying the happy hour of 2 for 1 cocktails that didnt seem to end!

on thursday night we went to Helges billiard club and played some pool, i tried, and gave up after i realised im just constantly reaaranging the balls on the table and never actually getting anywhere! i decided it was alot more fun to drink drinks and chat with Ines, and pat this cute german shepherd dog that was there. he was so cute and had the loveliest face! [i didnt take a photo, cause we were indoors and i didnt want the flash to frighten him]
