today we made the trip up to mount jungfrau, the highest point in europe. its a two hour train ride up, and it was sunny at the bottom, and it slowly turns into snow! we walked to the train station and admired the scenery along the way, its like a freakin postcard here, i cant believe its actually this beautiful!
when we got to the top, we went up and outside, and oh my gosh it was FREEZING! the wind was So strong, and i got wind burn on my hands from taking photos! the ground had turned to ice on the walking track, so we just stuck to the sides and held on to the rope and slowly made our way up. i thought i wouldnt make it up, i was so scared of falling and smashing my camera, but i fought the fear, and made it up, to bring you these awesome photos!
the best bit was, matt thought that he couldnt make it up, as the air was so thin and he was struggling to breathe, and we had to leave him inside on a chair at the top of the steps to catch his breath, and then 15mins later, he made it to the top and joined us, so we were so excited for him! you cant pay $175 to go up the mountain and not walk to the top!
and we had some more photos of ourselves with matt, shinya and faris showing off at the top of europe!
we also got to explore the ice castle, which was random and so full of tourists!
we headed back down to camp and had a rest, then spent the evening in the bar chatting and chilling out, i love altitude, two gin, lime and lemonades and i was ready to party all night woohoo! so funny!

Oh yay looks amazing!! I was at Jungfrau in December last year - when everything from Lauterbrunnen up was covered in a thick blanket of snow. I didn't go up to Jungfraujoch but spent heaps of time skiing at Kline Shidegg - SO much fun! I'm really enjoying looking at all your amazing photos :-)
hey Bron, thanks for the lovely message, you're right, it's such a fun place, can't wait to go back one day! i want to drink hot chocolate in the snow! :)
